Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy (Prints & Canvases)
At Josyan McGregor Art, customer satisfaction is important. If there’s an issue with your order, I’m happy to work with you to find a solution.
Please review the following policies regarding refunds, returns, and cancellations.
Order Variations & Manufacturer Defects
As each item is custom-printed, slight variations may occur between or even within an order. These are normal and not considered defects.
However, if your item has a mechanical issue or manufacturer’s defect—meaning a flaw that prevents it from being used for its intended purpose—it will be reprinted and reshipped at no additional cost.
Damaged Items
Once your package is shipped, responsibility for its handling transfers to the carrier (e.g., Canada Post, USPS, UPS).
- Damage from Shipping: If your package arrives damaged, please contact me within 7 days of delivery via your order confirmation email. I will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
- Damage from Opening: Please take care when unboxing your order. Damage caused by careless opening is not covered.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If your tracking number shows that your package was delivered, but you haven’t received it:
- Check with your neighbours or local post office, as packages are sometimes misdelivered.
- Contact the carrier to inquire about the delivery.
Unfortunately, I cannot replace items lost or stolen after they have been marked as delivered.
Returns & Refunds
Since all items are custom-made, returns and refunds are generally not accepted, except in cases of manufacturing defects.
- If an issue is deemed a manufacturing defect, the return shipping cost will be covered, and a replacement will be sent.
- If a return is requested for non-defect reasons (e.g., changed mind), the customer must cover return shipping. Refunds are not guaranteed and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
All return requests must be made within 30 days of receiving your order. The return address will be provided once your request is approved.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not available at this time, as all items are made to order. If you received a defective item, it will be replaced following the return policy above.
Cancellations & Order Changes
If you need to cancel or modify your order, you must do so within 12 hours of placing it.
- Cancellations or changes can be requested via your order confirmation email.
- Once an order has entered production, it can no longer be changed or cancelled.
Product Care & Maintenance
To maintain the longevity of your artwork, avoid placing prints and canvas prints in direct sunlight, as exposure may cause fading over time. Paper prints should be framed with UV-protective glass to help preserve their lightfastness.

At Josyan McGregor Art, I strive to provide high-quality digital products that meet your creative needs. Since digital downloads are delivered instantly, please review the following policies carefully before purchasing.
Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the instant and non-returnable nature of digital products, all sales are final. This means:
- Refunds are not available once a file has been downloaded.
- Exchanges or substitutions are not offered for digital products.
If you experience any issues with your download, please contact me—I’ll be happy to help resolve any problems.
Order Issues & File Errors
If you encounter any of the following issues:
- The file is corrupt or cannot be opened
- The wrong file was provided
- There is a technical issue preventing use
Please reach out via the CONTACT page or reply to your order confirmation email, and I’ll work to provide a resolution as quickly as possible.
Cancellations
Because digital files are delivered immediately after purchase, cancellations are not possible once an order has been placed. Please double-check your order before completing your purchase.
License & Usage
All digital products are for personal use only unless stated otherwise. Redistribution, resale, or modification for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
